Scientific staff

PERSCI (Personnel Scientifique Facultaire) is the organization representing the scientific staff of the Faculty of Psychology, Logopedics and Educational Sciences. PERSCI acts as an interface between researchers and the various bodies of the Faculty Authorities (Department Council and Faculty Council). PERSCI's two main roles are to :

• represent and defend the interests and wishes of scientists vis-à-vis the Faculty Authorities: its twelve representatives, drawn from the Faculty's three departments, meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues affecting scientists on a day-to-day basis, as well as the position to be defended with regard to decisions by the Faculty and Department Councils. They sit on the various decision-making bodies of the Faculty (Department Council, Faculty Board and Faculty Council).
• informing scientists of the main decisions concerning them taken by the Faculty and University Authorities: twice a year, the General Assembly brings together all FAPSE scientists for information (PhDs, funding, etc.) and exchange.

Beyond the faculty sphere, FAPSE's PERSCI maintains links with various university bodies. The most important of these are the CUPS (Conseil Universitaire du Personnel Scientifique), which represents the interests of scientific staff in dealings with the University authorities, and the Comité de Contact FNRS-ULg , which acts as a link between the representatives of the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique-FNRS integrated into ULg.
