Board of studies

The mission of the Board of Studies is to advise departmental councils, juries, the libraries' scientific council and the faculty on all matters relating to training and assessment, in particular :

• the content and internal organization of courses of study;
• the forms and methods of examinations and any other knowledge assessment procedures;
• requirements for students' written and oral assignments;
• requirements for practical work and internships;
• conditions of access and operating procedures for documentation units and libraries;
• proposed changes to course curricula and duration;
• rationalization of student work and optimization of their timetable;
• course, practical and internship timetables;
• the application of the academic calendar, including the organization of examinations and, in conjunction with examination boards, assessment procedures;
• issues relating to informing students and future students about study programs and related matters (prerequisites, teaching and assessment methods, career opportunities, etc.).
