Participation in research
You can help research by registering as a volunteer
If you'd like to play an active part in increasing scientific knowledge in the field of psychology, you can register on our platform.
NOTICE: This registration in no way constitutes a commitment or obligation to participate in any research, but simply signals to our researchers that you have a little time to devote to them. Once you have registered, you will be contacted by telephone by a researcher who will briefly explain the aims of his/her research and ask if you are willing to take part. If so, he/she will arrange an appointment with you to carry out the experiment. When you arrive at the laboratory, the researcher will explain in detail the purpose and methods of the experiment, and only after your informed and written acceptance will the actual experiment begin.
In accordance with the code of ethics for human experimentation (APA Code of Ethics), you are free to stop the experiment at any time, without having to give any reason. Our researchers work in strict compliance with the code of ethics in force, as proposed by the ethics committee.
Only researchers from the Faculty of Psychology, Logopedics and Educational Sciences at the University of Liège will have access to the data you provide when you register in our database. You can unsubscribe at any time by editing your profile.
In general, there is no financial compensation for participating in research at our faculty, except in a few exceptional cases. Please ask the researcher who will contact you.
