Diversity at the heart of our teaching
In terms of teaching programs, the FPLSE offers three courses: a course in Psychology, a course in Speech Therapy, and a course in Education Sciences. The programs consist of a three-year Bachelor's degree in Psychological and Educational Sciences - General Orientation (OG) or Speech Therapy Orientation (OL) (180 credits) - and a two-year Master's degree in Psychological Sciences, Speech Therapy, or Educational Sciences (120 credits). The Psychology program was created and developed in response to a growing demand for professionals capable of working in a variety of fields (versatile aspect of the program) related to health, work and employment, business, education, training, and justice, and of dealing with the complexity of these fields (multimodal aspect, based on a rigorous theoretical approach).
The Speech Therapy program was developed to train reflective and flexible professionals and specialize them in one of the important fields of voice disorders, learning disorders, acquired language disorders, and communication disorders in the context of disabilities.
Finally, the Education Sciences program was developed to enable bachelor's degree students and professionals with initial training in the field of pedagogy and/or useful experience in training institutions to pursue a master's degree in the fields of education, teaching, and adult education. Since 2013-2014, the Master's program has been organized on a staggered schedule. The program has been thoroughly redesigned in terms of both the teaching methods and approaches offered and the scheduling. The aim was to offer a program that could be followed by people who are busy with their professional activities but who wish to continue their education.
